I began my massage therapy career in 2002 after graduating from the Universal College of Healing Arts. I have a strong focus on prenatal massage and completed advanced training with Claire Marie Miller and Kate Jordan, both well respected prenatal massage educators. In 2012, I accepted a part time faculty position with the Universal College of Healing Arts becoming their Advanced Prenatal Massage CEU instructor. I also work as a certified birth doula and have witnessed over 120 mothers and partners find their strength in birth. In addition I have taught Hypnobabies® Childbirth Hypnosis classes, Gena Kirby Method Rebozo courses and completed the Spinning Babies training course.
While I truly enjoy working with pregnant clients, I also have 11 years of previous experience working in a health club setting. This allows me to use my training in myofascial, orthopedic, sports and deep tissue massage daily. You may be surprised to know that half of my massage clientele are men!
I am a distance runner (sometimes enthusiastically, sometimes reluctantly) and have completed 10 full marathons and one 50K so far. Fellow runners on my massage schedule make me happy.
I’m truly thrilled to be expanding and flowing with life organically and joyfully. Keep following us on Facebook and Instagram as our journey unfolds, we are always up to something new.
Thanks for being a part of our evolving adventure!
